Evergreen Tree Description

An evergreen tree is a type of tree that remains green and retains its leaves throughout the year, regardless of the season. Unlike deciduous trees, which shed their leaves annually, evergreen trees continuously replace old leaves with new ones, allowing them to maintain a full canopy all year long. They are commonly found in a variety of climates, from cold northern forests to tropical regions, and play a vital role in their ecosystems by providing year-round shelter and food for wildlife. Many evergreens have needle-like leaves, such as pines and firs, which help reduce water loss, while others, like holly or eucalyptus, have broad leaves. Their ability to stay green even in harsh weather makes them symbols of resilience and continuity in nature.
