Willow - Weeping

Price Range $69 - $99

The Weeping Willow (Salix babylonica) is a graceful, fast-growing deciduous tree known for its long, sweeping branches that arch downward, creating a cascading, curtain-like effect. This iconic tree can reach heights of 30 to 50 feet with a wide, rounded crown that spreads just as far, making it a striking focal point in landscapes. Its narrow, lance-shaped leaves are light green and turn yellow in the fall before dropping. Weeping willows thrive in moist soils and are commonly found near ponds, streams, or wetlands, where their roots help stabilize banks and reduce erosion. While they are admired for their beauty and romantic appearance, they require ample space and are best planted away from buildings and underground pipes, as their roots can be aggressive. Despite their relatively short lifespan (35-50 years), weeping willows remain a beloved symbol of elegance and tranquility in gardens and natural settings.
